CIO Roundtable Dinner
Thursday, November 12, 2009
Morton's Boardroom
Schaumburg, IL

CIOs are invited to join their peers for an evening of dinner, drinks and discussion at our hosted dinner for local executives. Topics will include relevant and timely issues that CIOs face around managing outsourced IT projects in the current economy.

About Services Procurement Management
Given the sizeable investment companies make in outsourced IT projects, it is critical that these engagements and vendor partnerships are well managed. They need to be based on sound requirements and on vendor deliverables and expectations that are well defined and tracked to completion. While a great deal of effort has been placed on implementing project and vendor management practices to ensure clients get what they need and are paying for from their vendors, significantly less time is spent “upstream” ensuring the soundness of the vendor selection process and of the administrative support processes for managing the contract, SLAs, SLA achievement tracking, etc. Services Procurement Management provides the insight into this part of the engagement lifecycle that ultimately leads to a clients ability to effectively manage and better control the vendor selection and management process. You can download our introductory white paper on SPM.
