Recruitment consultant Darren Butz will speak on the topics of self marketing and talent management

AUDUBON, PA (July 31, 2008) – The National Association of Catering Executives (NACE) has named Darren Butz, a recruitment consultant at TAPFIN Process Solutions, A COMSYS Company, as a panelist for their Experience! 2008: The Future of Catering & Event Design conference, which will take place in Philadelphia August 3-6. The panel, to be held Tuesday, August 5, from 4:30-6:00 p.m., will address the topic of "Strategically Marketing Yourself, Internally and Externally." Butz will contribute his expertise in human resources and talent management to the panel's discussion, which will be positioned around professional development for catering executives.

Prior to his joining the team at TAPFIN, Butz managed staffing at Aramark, a leader in professional and food services and facilities management, where he recruited heavily from NACE for hospitality and catering professionals. While there, Butz helped develop a catering committee consisting of recruiters, human resources professionals, catering executives and operation professionals. The committee aimed to improve catering on campuses by attracting top talent and implementing new, efficient processes.

Through this experience, Butz understands the importance the catering industry carries in many types of businesses, particularly schools. "Catering professionals are key to the success of an account because of all the people they touch on campus. If we deliver sub-par catering, it reflects back on the university or college and ultimately, our client," Butz said.
